One of the more fun activities of being in a Lions Club is participating in the activities that lead to a club award. District 36-G is unique in Oregon in that we have a history of annual awards that honor our yearly activities. Some are traveling awards and some are individual club plaques. The following pages will give you a description of each of the District awards, a list of criteria by which they will be judged, and an entry form.
It is suggested that each club President assign someone in their club to take responsibility as "award chairman"-someone who will fill out and mail in these entry forms. You will find one official entry form included for each contest. Only one activity may be submitted on a form, therefore you will need to make additional copies of the forms. They may be submitted anytime prior to April 20, 2011. Please note that some contests end earlier.
